Roses

We went to Trädgårdsföreningen in Gothenburg (the garden society) to catch some pokeballs and Pokemons, but I catch roses. 🙂

The Dress

The DressOr technically two pice or suit I guess, that I was so exited about and wore to the wedding party in that we went to in Västerås. For you who wanted to see it.
I can definitely say that I did not look like any one else there. 😉
I love this skirt and top, it is my new favourite brand, Holly and Whyte from Lindex, it has little gold buttons on the top, a very tight skirt, and I got it for half off. Its navy and orange, though it looks black and orange in the pictures, and I am wearing my favourite (and also most expensive, ever) boots from Zamagni bought at Solestruck.
And if I do say so myself I got my hair really nice, the gold beads, a repurposed necklace from h&m, matching the gold buttons. (I fixed that little bald spot thing before we left).

Macro in Garden

I have those lens collections that you clip on your smart phone, it’s quite hard to get in place and it slips a lot, but it’s surprisingly good lenses! The bunnies were out hopping in the garden and as I was keeping an eye on them, I went a little crazy with the macro lens. This is a small! collection of the pictures I took. I tried photographing a wasp, but you have to get so very close so it thought I was a bit annoying and changed flowers, could have cone a totally different way there I suppose. cguy0056eszu5382ofqg6438ovbi8431pndb1888

Nail Polish Conundrum

I tried talking to my husband about this, but he just blatantly said that “I really don’t care about nail polish”, shocking! So you lucky people will just have to be my soundboard for this. Ok:

Should I buy the “unt Ready for Takeoff” peel off base coat from the states (to Sweden), which will take at least 14 days to get here, who knows if it will clear customs, but at least I found a shop that had free shipping.screen-shot-2016-09-17-at-13-24-05

(Also they had these dotty ones, aaaah, want)

Or… Should I just get the glue based “opi Glitter Off” that I can get my hands on here in Sweden, which incidentally is more expensive, still free shipping though and it will get here in a matter of days. opi1

nail polishSee… it’s a real conundrum! Does anyone have any experience with these products or just any advice at all.

Later in the day: We went to fix a small problem with my glasses and catch some Pokemon while we were at it, and, there was a shop which sold nail polish, I went in to see if they had that opi glitter off, no, but wait they had this IsaDora Peel Off Base that was at least as good, said the friendly lady. So… I got that. Lets se how it works before ordering anything from the states shall we. isadora

Alingsås Cathedral

alingsas cathedralAfter visiting Västerås, which was a truly beautiful city, I have come to cherish my closest little town Alingsås more. Its way smaller than Västerås, and of course not even comparable to the cities I have lived in Gothenburg and Stockholm, which are magnificent in their own right. But Alingsås is the perfect size for a stroll, I know the centre well, it has tonnes of cafe´s and fun little store as well as the well-known chain stores that most of us has come to rely on. It feels great that this little gem of a town is my town now.

The Cathedral just happened to have this magical light on it, the lights on the trees made leafy shadows on the tower, but twilight had not gotten that dark yet, also the church was lit up from within, together making this image. Edited in Enlight and Prisma.img_3553

The we went around the corner and found this magnificent window, that I had never noticed before because I have never been around the cathedral at dusk when it was lit from within. I love how you can see the simple objects in the complexity of the stained and leaded glass. Also edited in Enlight and Prisma.img_3535

Original pictures. Taken with an iPhone 5s.

Model Goats

Model Goats

I love goats and sheep, really, I love their quirky, skittish nature and how if you gain their trust they love to be petted, scratched and hugged. But I think I am outmatched by photographer Kevin Horan who has taken the most stunning, personality imbued, black and white studio photos of goats. Head over there to have a look att all the pictures and just marvel!

This isn’t just about being a skilled photographer, which he obviously is, its making the camera catch that thing that you can see and want to show to other people. That thing that I, so far, am unable to make any camera do. I’m working on it, not giving up.
